This is adjacent to the red roofed church at Cap Malheureux.

Traders are set up here because of the large number of tourist in this area. This is at the beginning of the day and the traders are still waiting for trade. The blue painted stands are very familiar in Mauritius. The stand on the left serves typical Mauritian fare. 

It is an A3 painting showing a typical Mauritian scene. 

About Cap Malheureux

This small village has a real paradisiac setting with its beach and its fishermen moving about. The area is made of a few private villas and shelters a marine cemetery, a Hindu temple and the famous red-roofed Chapel of Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice, which is found on many postcards and on all tourists’ guides.
